A: Yes, several.
| 1) | Don't shred unopened envelopes. You should know what materials you are receiving in the mail and only shred papers you know you don't want around. Personal banks and credit card companies often send important information in plain envelopes for security reasons. |
| 2) | Understand that all shredded papers (even cross-cut ones) can potentially be "pieced" back together with enough time and skill. However, a puzzle without all of the pieces will be incomplete. For added security, toss half of the shredded material from the catch bag in the trash one day and the balance the next. |
| 3) | Don’t waste time shredding paper/ mail that doesn’t have sensitive material printed on it. Most credit card solicitations, for example, have only one page with potentially harmful information on it. |
| 4) | If you want even smaller "shreddings" (a cross-cut effect) simply tear the offending paper into several pieces and then feed them into the Ziszor! (best to have the printing parallel to the insert slot). This is also a good way to get added life out of the catch bags as smaller pieces take up less room. |
| 5) | Keep up the routine! The Ziszor was specifically designed to take the chore out shredding everyday junk mail and other sensitive papers that pile up. Its compact size allows you to keep it right where you need it. |
